MySpace Music to launch tonight
Finally it is arriving…After much buzz and anticipation, Techcrunch reports that it will launch tonight! Now the labels have their “online MTV” to sell their crappy preformatted music to the masses…and helped Amazon become a strong competitor to iTunes! Divide & conquer :)
but the real question is, is it going to save the music industry? I personally believe that we reached a bottom and that sales will stop declining and then level for a couple of years followed by YoY growth.
Who said the internet was destroying value? this is yet another perfect example of Schumpeter’s creative destruction theory!
